Leading network and data management solutions provider, Independent Data Solutions (IDS) has partnered with IXUP, a Sydney-based publicly listed pioneering technology company to facilitate the secure sharing and analysis of sensitive information using advanced encryption technology. On the back of its recent partnership with LightRiver’s netFLEX, this move further strengthens IDS’ commitment to delivering innovative solutions to help businesses manage their most valuable assets i.e. their networks and data.
“Today’s world is built on data and the networks that connect its users. With the average cost of a data breach in the millions, data governance is paramount to minimising organisational risk. IXUP unlocks the power of big data by removing the threat of breaches or misuse to reveal insights that are essential to building a better business”, said Ian Deane Director at IDS.
IXUP’s Secure Data Engine combines superior data security with unique governance protocols to ensure multi-party data analytics are confidential, compliant, auditable, and trusted. With algorithms built on Microsoft’s SEAL library for homomorphic computations and an ISO/IEC 27001 information security management certification, IXUP communicates an emphasis on the importance of managing information security across internal processes and systems. Using encrypted analytics, data sets from multiple sources can be analysed, without the underlying data exposed. The IXUP platform is supported by world-class governance, underpinned by the Five Safes framework. Helping to ensure the safe use of data, this framework has been developed by the UK Data Service and adopted by the Australian Government.
“We are proud of the military-grade technology that’s been developed here in Australia. We are all the prouder that we get to partner with leading specialists like IDS to co-design, build and implement brand-new solutions using our IXUP Secure Data Engine for the ANZ region. The IDS team have developed an enviable record for thought leadership in building and deploying very effective network solutions” said Peter Hong, IXUP’s General Manager of Business Development in A/NZ.
The addition of IXUP compliments IDS’s existing network security, encryption and data solutions portfolio including Smartoptics’ optical network encryption capability, Versa’s SASE networking and network security point solutions, Komprise’s intelligent data management, and Quantum’s end-to-end solutions for managing and storing unstructured data.
