Smartoptics unveiled major updates to its DCP-M Family, including:
- DCP-M32-CSO-ZR+: A coherent-optimized open line system supporting 800G, featuring:
- Zero-touch provisioning
- OTDR filter (1600–1670nm)
- Streaming telemetry via gNMI
- Optical performance up to 120 km / 28 dB
- DCP-M40-MSO-ZR: The next-gen multi-service DCI solution:
- 40ch DWDM in 1RU
- Plug-and-play for 1G–400G
- Enhanced telemetry, WSS on drop side, and pluggable OTDR/OSC
- Replaces the DCP-M40-PAM4-xx with significant performance and usability gains

ROADM-Based Networks
Smartoptics is expanding its support for meshed and hybrid networks, with:
- 34D ROADMs featuring colourless & Flexgrid ports
- ILA nodes with VG amplifiers and Raman support for extended reach and OSNR optimization
Transponders & Muxponders
The new DCP-802 dual 400/800G transponder was a standout:
- Low latency, low power
- In-band management and encryption support
- Flexible breakout options: 2x400G or 8x100G
Transceivers & SmartBoard V2
Smartoptics introduced a range of 800G transceivers including:
- Multi-mode VR8 and single-mode DR8, 2xFR4, 2xLR4
- 800G L-Band DWDM in QSFP-DD form factor
- SmartBoard V2 (targeting Q1 2026) for enhanced programming and deployment
SoSmart Management Suite
The modular, SDN-based SoSmart suite continues to evolve:
- Built on open APIs and open-source software
- Seamless integration with DCP-M systems
- Yang-based data models and NetConf protocol support
